Ernie "T-Bird" Halcomb, 40, of Tiffin, died at 8:36 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at his residence.
Ernie was born Nov. 20, 1971, in Fremont, to Cletus and Joan (Anderson) Halcomb. He married Laura (Myers) Nov. 18, 1995, in Tiffin, and she survives in Tiffin.
Ernie is survived by his three children, Tiffany (Mike) Swartz, Holly Halcomb and Alisha Halcomb, all of Tiffin; two grandchildren; four brothers, Jimmy Halcomb of New Riegel, Tom Halcomb of Tiffin, Tracy Halcomb of Fostoria and Odia Halcomb of Tiffin; two sisters, Callie Patrick and Jaccia Chaney, both of Tiffin; a lifelong friend, Shase Breaux of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.

Ernie worked as a roofer and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Halcomb.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, Tiffin, with the Rev. Paul Tyree officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation for family and friends will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
