Shirley Mae (Wise) Hofelich, of Clyde, died Sunday, June 24, 2012, surrounded by family at Bellevue Care Center.
She was born Feb. 2, 1938, in Bellevue, to Kenneth and Dorothy Wise. On Sept. 28, 1957, she married Ronald E. Hofelich at Clyde St. Marys, and he survives.
Other survivors include five children, Leslie Robinson of Flat Rock; Kenneth Hofelich of Clyde; Lisa (Michael) Doebel of Clyde; Denise (Walter) Rogalinski of Clyde; and Dana Dearsman of Clyde; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, one step great-grandchild; sister Vicki Hunt of Powell; brother Danny (Laura) Wise of Cyprus, Texas; and sister-in-law Joann Wise.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Judy Gray; brother Doyle Wise; and great-grandson Jacob Guhn.
Her Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2012, at St. Marys, Clyde, with Rev. Eric Culler officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at Auxter Funeral home, 218 S. Main St. Clyde. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Clyde St. Marys or Stein Hospice.
