Clark Nation, 90, of Bellevue, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at his residence.
He was born March 3, 1922, in Bonnertown, Tenn., to James Luther and Elizabeth (Owens) Nation. He married Annette Newman July 26, 1941, in Florence, Ala., and she survives. Clark served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He also is survived by a son, Thomas Clark (Donna Jones) Nation of Naperville, Ill.; two daughters, Linda (Bill) Garlic of Graham, N.C., and Cheryl DeVaul of Albuquerque, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lester (Lois) Nation; and three sisters, Olena (Al) Minkler, Sybil (Roy) Bruce and Gwendolyn (George) McFarland.
His memorial service is 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2012, at First United Methodist Church, 901 Northwest St., Bellevue.
