Vadie Raypole, 84, of Clyde, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at The Bellevue Hospital.
She was born Feb. 18, 1928, in Jamboree, Ky., to Madison and Sarah (Ashby) Blankenship.
She is survived by four sons, Terry (Caren) Blankenship of Vickery, Jerry (Dodie) Blankenship and Larry Blankenship, both of Clyde, and Perry Blankenship of Paw Paw, Mich.; four daughters, Velma (Don) Pesnell of Flat Rock, Debbie (Roger) Wieczorek of Clyde, Brenda (Dean) Marshall of Plain Well, Mich., and Bernardett Blankenship of Elmore; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal; both husbands, Lawson Blankenship and John C. Raypole; and numerous siblings.
Visitations is 9 a.m until her funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy., Clyde. The Rev. Gene Paul will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
