Tiffin reports

A person from Walmart, 2801 W. SR 18, reported Saturday afternoon a shoplifter was in the office.

A first-block Minerva Street resident reported Saturday evening pills were missing from the house.

Fostoria reports

A 1000-block North Union Street woman reported Saturday evening her purse was stolen from her vehicle at the city pool.

A person reported early Sunday morning a large fight at Los Tocallos, 203 N. Main St.

An 800-block North Union Street woman reported early Sunday morning she and her sister were assaulted at Dunn's Lanes, 1657 N. Union St., by another woman. Both victims refused to file charges.

A 600-block West Fremont Street man reported Sunday afternoon he returned home, and someone had gotten inside and stolen some items.

County reports

A bad check was reported Saturday morning at Bloomville's drive-through, 19 N. Marion St.

A 1000-block South US 23 resident requested a deputy Saturday morning for a theft from an unlocked vehicle.

A 300-block Union Street woman reported Saturday evening someone broke into her home and stole her medication.

A man reported Saturday night he was assaulted by a man at Marathon, 100 Sullivan St., Bettsville. He said he was struck with a baseball bat but denied being injured.

A man requested Saturday night deputies meet him in the 1000 block of North SR 4 to discuss options about charges against his girlfriend after being assaulted.

A woman reported Saturday night a fight at Leafy Oaks Campground, 6955 N. SR 101.

Fostoria accident

A citation for assured clear distance ahead was issued after an accident at Findlay and West Lytle streets Sunday afternoon.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to a smoke detector activation at 359 Miami St., building 2, Saturday night. There was no fire, and it was unintentional.

Firefighters were called to a smoke detector activation at 781 Greenfield St. early Sunday morning. The activation was due to a malfunction.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called to an accident at Findlay and Lytle streets Sunday afternoon. They found two vehicles were involved, and there was minor damage. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters were called to a possible electrical problem at 528 Miller Ave. Sunday afternoon. They found a broken light bulb.

County fire

Clinton firefighters were called out for a missing child at 575 E. SR 18 early Sunday morning.
