Joanna M. Elchert, a resident of Warrington, Pa., for the past 18 years, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at her residence. She was 75.
Joanna was the loving wife of Gregory A. Elchert. Born in Tiffin, Joanna was a daughter of Francesco and Philomena Longo.
Prior to Joanna and Gregory's retirement, the couple were co-owners of Sir Speedy Printing Centers of Doylestown and Warrington.
Joanna was an active parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Church.
In addition to her husband, Joanna is survived by three sons, Michael (Dawn), Stephen and Francis (Michele); a daughter, Deborah Shannon (Joseph); 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Leonard Longo; and four sisters, Sister Marianne Longo, RSM, Connie Archer, Rosie Mangus and Rita Schwab.
Joanna was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Francesco Longo; and a sister, Carol Longo.
Relatives and friends are invited to Joanna's funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave, Warrington, PA 18976. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joanna's name to St. Robert Bellarmine Church.
