A manager at Walmart, 2801 W. SR 18, reported Wednesday evening a man tried to walk out of the store with a TV. He then took off when he was asked for a receipt. The manager also reported they had video of him stealing a stereo last week. According to the report, the case is under investigation.
A first-block West Perry Street man reported early Thursday morning a man who he knew hit him several times while he was sleeping. The man didn't want to press charges. According to court documents, Troy S. Carter, 44, of Tiffin, was charged with aggravated burglary.
A first-block Ash Street caller reported Thursday afternoon a flag was stolen from a front yard.

A man went to the station Thursday morning to report unauthorized charges on his debit card.

An 800-block West North Street woman reported a possible bank scam Wednesday evening.
A woman reported early Thursday morning someone threw a brick at her car from the overpass at East Center and South Town streets.
A 200-block East Sixth Street man reported Thursday morning someone entered his vehicles that were parked in a garage. Another 100 block East fourth Street woman reported Thursday morning her vehicle also was entered.
A 500-block Short Elm Street man reported Thursday morning his vehicle was entered overnight and percussion items were taken.
A man in the 100 block of East High Street reported Thursday morning his ex-girlfriend's mother assaulted him when he went to drop off his child.

Firefighters were called to 2300 W. Market St. Wednesday afternoon for an unintentional sprinkler activation.
