American flags line Mid-Block in Fostoria Wednesday. The city will be raising a 20-foot by 30-foot American flag on an 80-foot pole during a ceremony at 6 p.m. today in the Key Bank parking lot at South and Wood streets. The Fostoria Flag Fund raised money for the project. The ceremony includes comments from Fostoria Mayor Eric Keckler, Miss Ohio Ellen Bryan singing The National Anthem, commentary by Chief Operating Officer of Ohio Division of Veteran's Services Tim Espich, a 21-gun salute by the United Veterans of Fostoria Honor Guard and a speech by Fostoria Flag Fund Chairman Joe Bouillon.
