June 13, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

A Green Springs man arrested over the weekend after a standoff at his residence was sentenced to 240 days in jail after he pleaded no contest to domestic violence and using weapons while intoxicated Tuesday.

Daniel C. McClanahan, 35, appeared in court Tuesday morning where he also was ordered to forfeit his weapons to the Seneca County Sheriff's Office, was put on permanent weapons disability and was prohibited from ingesting alcohol or entering an establishment where it is sold.

Tiffin Municipal Court Judge Mark Repp ordered him to submit to random drug tests and he was told he has to wear a scram unit.

A fine hearing for McClanahan is scheduled for July 6.
