Women’s group to hold convention

The Lakeside Federation of Women is to hold its 118th annual convention July 11 at Green Gables, historic home of the Lakeside Women's Club. The morning program is to feature Jan Rader from Columbus who will give a history of American Sign Language and teach a song in sign.

A luncheon is to be held at the Lakeside United Methodist Church. Karen Westgate is to present harp music.

Polly Albrecht from Lakeside is to speak in the afternoon about "Aprons Hanging from My Clothesline," stories from the past and her love of aprons.

Lakeside Federation of Women is made up of women's clubs who meet to study a variety of subjects. Clubs include Attica Woman's Literary Guild, No Name Club of Bloomville, Carey Fortnightly Club, Clyde Garden Club and Progress Club of Clyde.

The convention is open to any interested women.
