A 66-year-old man from Marion died after his boat capsized at the Upper Sandusky reservoir Wednesday evening.
According to a release from the Upper Sandusky Police Department, a 911 caller had reported around 6:30 p.m. that a boat capsized. Police responded to the reservoir where they removed Raymond E. Jordan from the water and transported him to Wyandot Memorial Hospital. There, he was pronounced dead.
Initial reports indicated that there were possibly two people in the water, but it was determined Jordan was the only person in the boat at the time that it capsized, according to the release.
