Dennis W. Mompher, 63, of Fostoria, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 2, 2012.
He was born March 2, 1949, to the late William Howard and Helen Louise (Jumper) Mompher. He graduated from Columbian High School in 1967.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Mompher; two grandchildren, Zander and Kaiya Mompher; a sister, Karen Slagle of Tiffin; a brother, Gary Mompher of Delaware; and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis served in the U.S. Navy and was the recipient of the Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam. He retired in 1993 as a commander master chief after 25 years of service to his country. He worked for Ohio Logisitics, Findlay, and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and co-workers.
His family will have a private memorial at a later date.
