Jacob Leo Badik, 4 days, died, Monday, June 4, 2012, at Fostoria Community Hospital.
Jacob was born Thursday, May 31, 2012, to Michael D. and Jill K. (Braun) Badik of rural Fostoria.
Also surviving are two brothers, Gabriel M. and Noah D. Badik; maternal grandparents, Russell and Laura Braun of Ovid, Mich.; paternal grandparents, Michael and Jean Badik of Toledo; maternal great-grandparents, Leo Braun of Port Hope, Mich., and Corrine Simonsen of St. Johns, Mich.; and paternal great-grandparents, Joyce Schoonmaker of Maumee and Julius Badik of Perrysburg.
He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Virginia Braun and Frank Simonsen; and paternal great-grandparents, David Schoonmaker and Angela Badik.
His funeral Mass of the Angels is 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, where visitation will take place from 10-10:45 a.m. at which time a rosary will be prayed. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery. A funeral luncheon will be served in the parish hall of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, following the cemetery committal services.
Memorials are suggested to St. Wendelin School.
