All Patriots Memorial under way, thanks to supporters
This week, we tip our cap to those involved in planning and raising funds for the Tiffin Police and Fire All Patriots Memorial. Ground was broken Monday at the former Firestone property on North Washington Street for the Sept. 11, 2001, memorial, which will feature a steel beam from the World Trade Center.
We also extend our gratitude to people and organizations that have donated money and material to the cause. So far, more than $104,000 has been raised toward the $125,000 goal for the memorial, which is to be dedicated Sept. 11.
