Isaac Lambert, 76, of Pulaski, Va., and formerly Bettsville, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012.
Isaac was born July 24, 1935, in Kimball, W. Va., to John Lambert and Mary (Christian) Lambert. He married Ruth (Wildman) Lambert, they later divorced and she died in 1998. He then married Joan (Dunford) Lambert of Pulaski Va., and she survives in Virginia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Hallie, Pat, Elsie, Norma Jean and Janet; along with a brother, Dennis; and son, James.
Surviving are three children, Mark (Donna) Lambert of Bloomville, Lisa (Douglas) Watkins of Fostoria and Denise (Leo) Hays of Amsden; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Howard (Pricie) Lambert of Bettsville and Kenneth Lambert of Fremont; and two sisters, Thelma (David) Beard of Fremont and Shirley Pound of San Antonio, Texas.
Isaac worked at Basic Refractory, Bettsville, and retired from Pulaski Furniture, Pulaski, Va. He loved to fish and play the guitar.
A private service will take place in Pulaski.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
