Level Up is getting a lift from a new and used clothing and electronics repair shop in downtown Tiffin that opened last month.
Technical Fashionz co-owner Julian Garcia approached Level Up owner Tom Hayes early in January about repairing used and traded in game consoles, such as Xbox and Playstation systems.
"I was happy to give them a shot and see how their work is," said Hayes, owner of the Tiffin video game store.

Level Up is a walk away from Technical Fashionz, since they sit catty-cornered from each other on East Market Street near South Washington Street.
Technical Fashionz sits on the south side of E. Market St. and shelves used clothing and houses an electronics repair department.
"I studied demographics before we moved our business here," Garcia said.
He said being bilingual is helpful.
They have been repairing the systems for the last few months, Hayes said.
The reason why Hayes has hired the Technical Fashionz owners is because of the increasing sophistication of equipment and because of the increased need for trade-ins.
"Level Up was in need of a local technician for both the Tiffin and Bellevue locations," Garcia said. "We also service the Fremont and Findlay areas."
Technical Fashionz co-owners Garcia and Joe Cole say they commute from Fremont to work at their store.
"It is my first store, but we have over a combined 30 years experience here," Garcia said.
Level Up has a 90-day guarantee on all systems, but it's the newer consoles that have over-heating problems, Hayes said.
"The newer systems are becoming more complex," Hayes said. "It seems like they are doing their research and have been able to repair the equipment the right way."
Level Up celebrated its sixth anniversary of business Sunday at the Bellevue store and is going into its third year of business at the Tiffin store.
Technical Fashionz offers security cameras, computer and cell phone repair, TV and Internet installation services for the public and is open 12-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
