SYCAMORE - The Mohawk High School FFA chapter attended state FFA convention May 2-4. Members who attended were Meghan Chaffee, Erika Coldiron, Emily Daniel, Lindsay Daniel, Kayla Draper, Levi Edgington, Kelsea Fleming, Somer Freeman, Candace Lease, Jordan Long, Kevin Lonsway, Deon Morter, Grant Price, Jarred Shellhouse, Donny Smith, Bri Thiery, Darby Walton and Austin Wise.
Edgington received the chapter's recognition for donating $200 to Children's Hospital. Lease received an award on behalf of the chapter for donating to Ohio FFA Foundation.
Lindsay Daniel placed second in the state for her veterinary medicine proficiency award. Coldiron received an officer award. Lindsay Daniel, Morter, Price, Shellhouse and Walton received state FFA degrees. Chaffee participated in the Ohio FFA band.
