TRACK MEET: Taylor Harris ran first in the 1,600 and second in the 800 at the 2012 CYO Diocesan meet, helping the Tiffin Catholic Cadet girls end second overall. Elayna Kapelka took second in shot put and sixth in discus. Mackenzie Shook placed third in the long jump, while Kennedy Smith claimed fifth and Maddy Brown ended sixth. Anna Fletcher took fourth in both the 100 and 400. Kennedy Smith ran fourth in the 200. Anna Fletcher, Maddy Brown, Kennedy Smith and Mackenzie Shook took first in the 4x100 relay, with the team of Alice Demith, Bridget Daniel, Claire Thompson and Jessica Ferstler coming in sixth. Sophie Burtis, Demith, Thompson and Ferstler took fifth in the 4x200 meter relay. The team of Gabbi Hanni, Maddy Brown, Thompson and Harris placed third in the 800 medley relay.

n Josh Recker's second in the shot put lead the Tiffin Catholic Cadet boys to fourth overall at the 2012 CYO Diocesan meet. Luke Bricker took fifth in discus. Austin Jones took fourth in long jump. Brad Haren took third in the 200 and landed sixth in long jump. Sixth place in the 200 went to Robert Daniel. Kerrick Fanning took sixth in the 800. Aaron Rombach, Mitchel Nielsen, Robert Daniel and Austin Jones placed third in the 4x100 relay. Austin Horn, Trenton Cooper, Josh Recker and Justin Ferstler placed sixth in the 4x200 relay. Third place in the 800 medley relay went to Brad Haren, Trenton Cooper, Connor Kwiat and Austin Jones.

CALVERT?FOOTBALL?CAMP:?The Calvert football camp is June 6-8 at Frost-Kalnow Stadium and runs from 9-11:30 a.m. Cost is $35 per player. Multiple family members can register for $25. The camp mission statement is to develop the introductory skills and techniques necessary for varsity level participation. Fundamentals, teamwork and a positive attitude will be stressed. GOLF CAMP: Tiffin University will host a children's golf camp from June 24-27. Registration is June 24 from noon-1 p.m. Camp will then begin and last until 5 p.m. From then on, camp is every day from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost is $100, which includes drinks and snacks each day.
