TU has three All-Americans in track

PUEBLO, Colo. - Katie Gerhardt became Tiffin University's first women's NCAA Division II All-American in outdoor track and two Dragons gained All-American status on the men's side Saturday at the national meet.

Gerhardt took sixth in the shot with a heave of 48-7 1/4, breaking her own school record. She also finished 12th in the discus (145-10).

Upper Sandusky graduate Lynzi Daughenbaugh scored 4,725 points to end 11th in the pentathlon.

For the men, Travis LeFlore cleared 6-10 3/4 for sixth in the high jump and John Pemberton had a toss of 56-9 1/4 for seventh in the shot.

LeFlore earned his first All-American honor, while Pemberton gained his first in the outdoor season and his second overall.

Calvert graduate Emmanual Grembo finished 14th in the 100 (10.69).
