Tiffin accident
Mark M. Vanhorn, 21, of Tiffin, was cited with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead following a non-injury accident Tuesday afternoon at South Washington and Madison streets.

A two-vehicle accident was reported Tuesday evening in the 5400 block of West SR 18. Further details were not available.
Fostoria fire
Firefighters were called to 115 W. Crocker St. Tuesday evening for a roof fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found light smoke coming from the roof and extinguished it.
Firefighters were called to Dylan Road and Columbus Avenue Tuesday night for the report of a possible house fire. A bon fire was found upon arrival. The scene was turned over to Bascom Joint Fire District.
Firefighters were called to 622 W. Lytle St. Wednesday afternoon for a fuel spill.
