The 115th Scipio-Republic Annual Alumni Banquet is to be June 23 at Republic United Church of Christ, 312 S. Madison St., Republic (across from the Republic School site). Registration and social hour is to be 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., with the meal to follow, served by the Republic UCC Rebecca Circle. A business meeting, remembrances and door prizes are to follow beginning at 2 p.m.
It was voted on at 2011 alumni banquet to change the date to the first Saturday after Father's Day each year. Invitations have been sent out to those on the mailing list of the date change.
Cost is $12.50 a person.
Alumni who did not receive an invitation but would like to attend this year may contact Sherry Smith at (419) 217-7417 or Paul Snavely at (419) 307-2172 by June 15. Alumni who are unable to attend, but would like to send a donation toward expenses, may make check payable to Scipio Republic Alumni, and send it to Sherry Smith, 8565 E. TR. 8, Republic, OH 44867.
