A Bucyrus woman was injured in a motorcycle accident in Venice Township Saturday evening.
A spokeswoman from State Highway Patrol said Annisa S. Zorns, 39, was taken by Attica EMS to Bucyrus Community Hospital. Life Flight was called to the hospital.
Annisa Zorns was a passenger on a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Robert A. Zorns, 41, of Bucyrus.
The spokeswoman said the motorcycle was southbound on SR 4. Robert Zorns began to brake for another motorcycle slowing in front of them and lost control. The motorcycle went off the right side of the road, struck a traffic post, overturned and came to rest in a private yard, she said.
The spokeswoman said she did not know whether the occupants were wearing helmets. The accident, which occurred at 5:20 p.m. Saturday, remained under investigation Sunday evening.
Alcohol and drug usage were not suspected, she said.
Attica-Venice-Reed firefighters also responded to the crash.
