Police are looking for a man who robbed the Alltel store, 231 S. Sandusky St., with a knife Friday evening.
Lieutenant Aaron Russell with the Tiffin Police Department said the subject was described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches, 200 pounds, and in his 20s, wearing baggy blue jeans and a red shirt. He fled the scene on foot, Russell said, with an undisclosed amount of money.
The Alltel employee working at the time of the robbery was not injured, he said.
Russell said he is not aware if the robbery is linked to other thefts that have occurred in the area. Police had not identified a suspect Saturday afternoon, and the incident remained under investigation.
