LaVonna Michelle Williams and Christopher Anthony Schank were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Sept. 17, 2011, at The Old Garden House, Fremont. Eli Seemer was officiant during the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at Ole Zim's Wagon Shed.
LaVonna is the daughter of Shaun Barnes of Fremont, Tom and Judy Hickle of Tiffin, the late Michael Williams and the late Linda Barnes.
Christopher is the son of Harold and Dianne Schank of Tiffin.

LaVonna, given in marriage by Tom Hickle and Shaun Barnes, wore a strapless, diamond white Mori Lee taffeta gown with asymmetrical silver lace, metallic embroidery and sequins draped along the bodice. The skirt featured an elaborate side part exposing the same lace, embroidery and sequins. The gown had a chapel-length train and corset closure. She carried a bouquet of brown and green hydrangeas, white magnolias, peacock and pheasant feathers tied with ivory ribbon.
Elizabeth Strobel of Kansas, Ohio, was her best friend's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachelle Griffin of Tiffin, cousin of the bride, and Dawn Williams of Fostoria, sister of the bride. They wore strapless, brown Mori Lee dresses with ivory lace across the bodice and carried bouquets of green gerbera daisies, burnt orange roses, white magnolias and pheasant feathers.
Jim Mack of Tiffin was his best friend's best man. Groomsmen were James Rucker of Tiffin, Doug Durnwald of New Washington and Kenneth Berrier of Tiffin, friends of the groom.
Kaliyah Payton of Fremont, great-niece of the bride, and Jozlynn Swain of Tiffin, cousin of the bride, were flower girls. Dakota Headrick, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
LaVonna is a 1999 graduate of Bettsville High School and is a manager at Aldi Foods, Fremont.
Christopher is a 1999 graduate of Calvert High School. He owns Chris Schank Enterprises Trucking and Excavating.
The bride's attendants hosted a scrapbooking bridal shower for her June 4, 2011.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hocking Hills, the newlyweds reside at 4875 N. TR 157, Tiffin.
