Kara Nicole Jesse and Jonathan Charles Schaffer have announced their engagement and approaching Aug. 18, 2012, wedding at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville.
Kara is the daughter of Alan and Diane Jesse of Tiffin. She is a 2006 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and a 2011 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She is a registered nurse at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.
Jonathan is the son of Roger Schaffer and Annette Schaffer of Monroeville. He is a 2004 graduate of Monroeville High School and served five years in the U.S. Navy. He is self-employed.
