H. Russell Hetrick, 92, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012.
He was born Jan. 15, 1920, to Oakley Sr. and Anna Mae (Doubledee) Hetrick in Barberton. June 15, 1957, he married Lillian Heishman, and she survives.
Also surviving are his brother Richard (Margaret) Hetrick of Chagrin Falls, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by nine siblings.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. Masonic services will be at 1:45 p.m. and Fraternal Order of Police services will be at 4:45 p.m. at the funeral home. His funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bellevue, with the Rev. Juli Lejman-Guy officiating. Burial will follow in Tew Cemetery, with military graveside services provided by the Bellevue VFW, American Legion and Marine Corps League.
Memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church in Bellevue.
