Concert to feature Christian music
WILLARD - Willard Hope Center, 16 W. Maple St., Willard, is to host The Well, a contemporary Christian concert, at 7 p.m. Friday. An open mic session also is planned.

Poker run to help FACT
Bikers are invited to a poker run in memory of John Schetter 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
The bikes are to leave from Tiffin Rangers, 3543 N. CR 33, and make stops at Roeder Racing, Huron Boat Basin, Margaritaville and White's Landing.
The cost is $15, which includes dinner and one poker hand.
A party is to follow the run with live music by Mike Risner and Brazin Bull. The festivities also include a car show by Crossroads and Seneca Cruisers, door prizes, raffles and a 50/50 drawing.
The event is open to those 21 and older. The best poker hand is to be announced at 7 p.m. and the holder must be present to win.
All proceeds are to be donated to Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment. In the event of rain, the party is to be moved inside.
Eat spaghetti, help crime victims
The Seneca County Victim Assistance Program is to host a spaghetti cook-off and karaoke contest Saturday at the Knights of Columbus, 49 E. Perry St. The meal is to include spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages.
Dinner tickets are $10 at the door. Children age 7 and younger are admitted free.
Proceeds from the event are to benefit the victim assistance program.
Area theaters having auditions
The next Ritz Players production is "Messiah on the Frigidaire," to be staged July 13, 14, 21 and 22. Auditions are to take place at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Roles are available for two lead women and one supporting woman (late 20s-early 40s), a boy (age 9-12, supporting role), one lead male and three supporting men (all late 20s-60s.)
The comedy is set in the small town of Elroy, S.C., that is thrust into the national spotlight when an image of Jesus appears on a refrigerator door in a mobile home.

UPPER SANDUSKY - The Star Players is to conduct open auditions for a summer musical production of "Titanic." Auditions are set for 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
Production dates are July 27-29 and Aug. 3-5.
Auditions are open to teens and adults of all ages. Those auditioning do not need to prepare music; a song from the show will be taught during auditions.
SANDUSKY - Sandusky State Theatre is seeking a cast for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Auditions are slated for May 30, June 2 and June 16.
Director Bill Quinlan is seeking adults and teens ages 15-70 for featured and ensemble members and children ages 7-14 for the children's choir.
Auditions for teens and adults ages 15-70 will take place 7-9 p.m. May 30 and 1-3 p.m. June 2 at The Sandusky State Theatre.
Auditions for children ages 7-15 will take place noon-3 p.m. June 16. Come prepared with 18 measures of a song to perform a cappella and a snapshot or headshot.

Children's workshops planned
BUCYRUS - Bucyrus Little Theatre is offering a summer workshop for children. The featured show for this workshop will be Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Mikado," directed by Randy Mann.
The workshop is open to students entering grades 4-9. Auditions are to take place at the theater, 130 Songer Ave., May 25-26. Children may attend either day. They should have a prepared song to sing and bring shoes to dance.
The summer workshop sessions are to run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. A $25 fee covers the cost of scripts and T-shirts.
Performance dates for "The Mikado" will be July 13, 14 and 15.
