A three-run fifth inning rally for Columbian was good enough to tie up its game against Southview. However, the Cougars posted single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to leave Tiffin with a 6-4 victory.
For Columbian (17-7), Tyler Fuhrer had a three-hit game. Jonah Boyer added a single and a double. Fuhrer, Nick Loura, Logan Tracy and Daniel Wood all had RBIs.
Boyer, Loura, Fuhrer and Bradley Craig all scored runs.
Southview collected 14 hits off four Columbian pitchers.
FHS gets three hits in loss to Royals
FOSTORIA - Jeff Vanscoder had four hits, scored three times and drove in five runs as Elmwood dominated Fostoria, 13-1.

The Royals scored five runs in the sixth and four in the seventh, also getting two hits and two RBIs from Trey Marsh.
Zach Irick got the win on the mound for the Royals.
Anthony Dean took the loss for the Redmen, who fell to 11-15, 5-8 in the Northern Buckeye Conference. Fostoria had three base hits.
Carey wins slugfest against St. Joe
CAREY - Carey took an 8-3 lead after five innings against St. Joe, only to see the Crimson Streaks rally for six in the sixth to take a 9-8 lead. However, Carey had the last laugh, plating four in the bottom of the sixth for a 12-9 Midland Athletic League win.
Satchel Strahm picked up his fifth win of the season for the Blue Devils, coming on in the sixth inning. Strahm also had two hits and scored a pair.
Alex Naeyaert went 3 for 3, drove in two runs and scored three for Carey (9-14, 5-5 MAL). Corbin Blair and Matt Holsinger also had two RBIs with Dillon Sammons adding one. Blair, Holsinger and Brady Mullholand each had two-hit games.
Calvert outlasts St.?Peter's
Monday night, Calvert and St. Peter's needed 10 innings to decide a winner. In the bottom of the tenth, Calvert's Matt Frank doubled and was brought home on a Brendan Deats single to give the Senecas a 2-1 victory.
"Matt Frank had a nice hit to start the rally in the bottom of the 10th and Brendan did a nice job of going the other way to finish the game off," Calvert coach Matt Coleman said.
Alec Brickner had four hits and was also the game's winning pitcher, throwing the final four innings in relief, striking out six. Ryan Huss started the game, allowing two hits and one run in six innings of work.
Deats, Frank and Derek Herzong each had two hits for Calvert (14-9). Deats and Frank each finished with RBIs.
