The Ohio Department of Travel and Tourism is to host a seminar on attracting tourism at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. today at North Central Ohio Education Service Center.
The event is being held in light of May being tourism month, according to Carol Yager with Destination Seneca County.
Those who attend can put the name of their business on the website, discover
ohio.com, Yager said.
The state department will have two guests, Eric Herzog, tourism information manager, and Roger Barger, electronic information coordinator.
According to the trade organization Ohio Tourism Association, the tourism industry in Ohio is a $38.2 billion industry.
