Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment (F.A.C.T.) of Seneca County has been awarded a grant from the Betty Jane Memorial Fund for children's assistance.
F.A.C.T. is dedicated to assisting residents of Seneca County who have been diagnosed with cancer and must pay medical and transportation expenses not covered by insurance.
When F.A.C.T. was formed in 1992, it served 48 clients. Today, it serves more than 300 clients. F.A.C.T. receives an average of two or three applications for assistance per week.
