Seneca County commissioners met for a short meeting Tuesday morning to discuss landscaping proposals for courthouse square.

County Administrator Stacy Wilson said the Seneca County Board of Commissioners received three proposals.

Wilson said they came from Perennial Landscape and Design LLC of Carey, Bilger's Lawn and Landscape and Mohawk Nursery.

"They all are supposed to stay under the anticipated $10,000 in cost," she said.

Wilson said they would look over the proposals and they would go from there.

Board members had been set to go with Bilger's proposal, but decided to hear from other businesses.

In new business the board approved:

A supplemental appropriation of $65,552.88 for General Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $30,000 for the Seneca County Sewer District Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $45,000 for the New Riegel Sewer Fund.

A fund advance from the General Fund to Seneca County Agency Transportation for $200,000.

An authorization for commissioners to enter into a mutual consent to extend the time to execute contracts for the Bascom Sanitary Sewer Project. Commissioners agreed they are complying with U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Establishing the Wolf Creek Ditch Petition.

Commissioners said they would further discuss proposals at the next board meeting Tuesday.
