Bellevue man killed on turnpike

OLMSTED FALLS - A man who was ejected from a motorcycle after striking a deer then was struck by a sport utility vehicle on the Ohio Turnpike died early Sunday morning.

James D. Knutti Jr., 34, of Bellevue, was killed in the crash, according to a release from State Highway Patrol.

The release states Knutti was driving a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound and struck a deer in the road. He was ejected, and while in the roadway, was struck by the eastbound 2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS.

Allen Jaglowski, 60, and his wife, Gloria, 58, the SUV occupants, were not injured.
