Christopher A. Peck, 53, of Tiffin, passed away at 10:03 a.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012, at his residence.
Chris was born April 8, 1959, in Tiffin, to Charles Anthony and Marjorie (Sievert) Peck.
Survivors include brothers, John (Carolyn) Peck of Indianapolis, Michael Peck of Sandusky and Thomas Peck of Plain City; and sisters, Barbara (Jim) Petticrew of Springfield, Jane Peck of Charlotte, N.C., Michelle (Mike) Marinis of Bay Village and Rachel (John) Ward of Plain City. Chris also is survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Chris worked at the Seneca County Youth Center. He enjoyed playing baseball, bowling and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. Chris was a 1978 graduate of Calvert High School and earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Tiffin University.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Paul Joseph Peck; and an infant sister, Mary Ann Peck.
A memorial service is to take place at 7:30 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2012, following visitation from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, Tiffin, with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.
There will be a private family burial Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Humane Society or Sierra Club in lieu of flowers.
