Seneca County Agricultural Society members heard Tuesday night that two walls of the new milkshake stand are completed and the electrical work is to be accomplished next. The milkshake stand is to be located in the educational building and is to be ready for fair week, July 22-29.
Members discussed the possibility of a cornhole tournament Thursday night during fair week at the grandstands. Cash prizes are to be given but not determined. Teams interested should register by calling the fair at (419) 447 7888.
Jill Earl said all junior fair horses are to be vaccinated by a veterinarian for the five-way virus, rabies and West Nile virus.

In other matters, the board:
Approved the April financial report.
Approved the purchase of two 12-foot by 14-foot industrial doors for the educational building from Lucius Door Co. totaling $1,600. They should arrive within two weeks.
Heard the Levi Danner family may sponsor a class of the demolition derby in his honor.
Heard the fair's website is being upgraded.
Learned the Senior Fair premium book is going to print Wednesday.
Approved the return of a concession vendor's deposit since he will be unable to participate fair week.
Approved offering a camping package and/or parking permits for all activities for fair board members as they are not paid for their time and services.
Discussed storage rates and asked the property committee to make a determination.
Discussed application techniques for labeling on rented golf carts.
Heard junior fair members had goats weighed in and tagged last week and sheep are to be tagged this week.
Discussed the camping needs of motorcyclists escorting the traveling Vietnam Wall to Tiffin July 11. More concerns have cropped up as a major horse show and fair judging are taking place at the same time.
Reported several speed bumps were stolen during the first flea market.
Discussed the Pony Pullers' Association suggestion of a pull prior to the horse pull. Members decided there is no time is allotted for that.
The agricultural society is to meet next at 7:30 p.m. June 12.
