A man who was indicted on 24 burglary-related charges has been sentenced to a total of 10 years in prison.
William C. Reau Jr., 25, whose address was unlisted, was sentenced to prison by Seneca County Court of Common Pleas Judge Steve Shuff and also was ordered to pay $23,541.99 in restitution to the victims, according to court documents.
Reau had pleaded guilty to one count of breaking and entering, six counts of theft, eight counts of receiving stolen property, seven counts of burglary, one count of theft from an elderly person and one count of grand theft. According to Reau's indictment, the offenses were committed in Seneca County between June and September of last year.
Reau, who was transported to Lorain Correctional Institution last week, is serving the prison term concurrently with a separate case in which he pleaded guilty to one count of burglary and one count of receiving stolen property.
