A 21-year-old Tiffin man received only minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident on TR 135 Wednesday afternoon. Derek Henry was driving a 2002 Pontiac sedan south on TR 135 when he went left of center, slammed into a ditch, went airborne, hit a road sign and rolled his vehicle, Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Phil Rickard said. Old Fort Volunteer FIre Department had to use the jaws of life to free Henry from the vehicle, he said. Henry was transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital. The cause of the accident is still undetermined, Rickard said. Bascom EMS, Seneca County Sheriff's Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol also responded to the crash.
