Carl L. Gilbert, 103, of Old North Road, Lenoir, N.C., died April 24, 2012.
Carl was the oldest known Junior Homekid. Once he was aware of the annual Jr. Home alumni homecomings in Tiffin, his daughters brought him as long as he was able. Carl was proud of his heritage of being raised and graduating from the former Junior Home High School.
