BASCOM - Lakota's tournament run came to an end as Gibsonburg topped the Raiders, 8-0. The Golden Bears crossed the plate eight times despite getting just two hits. They took advantage of 11 walks from Raider pitching.
Logan Jones picked up the win, striking out 16 in the complete game one-hit shutout. Tiger Jaso had Lakota's lone base hit.
St. Joe knocks out Bettsville
BASCOM - Fremont St. Joe scored runs in five of the six innings its sectional semifinal against Bettsville lasted. The Crimson Streaks topped Bettsville 11-1 and earned the right to play Hopewell-Loudon today at 5 p.m.
Dominic King scored Bettsville's lone run. He doubled in the sixth inning and came around to score on an error. Taylor Blausey also picked up a hit for the Bobcats.
