Kyle Miller and Dustin Blue were the only netters needing more than two sets to win. The No. 2 doubles beat Matt Locker and Alex Klepp, 6-0, 1-6, 6-3. Tyler Rice and Seth Sprang bounced Seth Chondler and Connor Johnson, 6-0, 6-2, in No. 1 doubles.
In singles play, Trevor Barth beat Matt Musick, 6-3, 6-3 while behind him at No. 2 singles, Jacob Courtright drilled Gabe Dawson, 6-2, 6-0. Brice Arnold smashed Ryne Stevens, 6-1, 6-0.
