Martha J. Ruffing, 86, of Attica, died Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Ruffing Family Care Center, Tiffin.
She was born July 25, 1925, in Reed, Township, to Edward and Rose (Walliser) Schreiner. She married Wilbur Ruffing June 14, 1947, at Reed Assumption Church, and he preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors include four sons, Bill (Susan) Ruffing and Gerald (Marleen) Ruffing of Attica, and Robert (Janet) Ruffing and Dennis (Diana) Ruffing of Republic; a daughter, Paula (Curtis) Karr of Attica; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Roth of Bellevue and Ruth Foos of Attica.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today, May 8, at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Home, 1294 W. U.S. 224, Willard, where a wake service will be at 1:30 p.m.
Her funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Our Lady Of Hope Church, 14204 CR 56, Attica. Burial will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Attica.
Memorials may be made to Ruffing Family Care Center activities fund or Seneca East Athletics Boosters.
