Tiffin reports

A caller from Columbian High School, 300 S. Monroe St., requested an officer Thursday afternoon for a student who left school while under school suspension.

A first-block Melmore Street caller reported Thursday evening someone had shoplifted. According to the report, the item was returned to the store.

A first-block Ann Street caller reported Thursday evening a laptop had been stolen.

The emergency room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital, 45 St. Lawrence Drive, requested an officer early Friday morning for a potentially disruptive subject.

Fostoria reports

Chrystal Lynn Chambers, 19, of Fostoria, was charged with endangering children May 2.

Shaun Lee-David Holeman, 21, of Arcadia, Fla., was charged with drug abuse May 2.

A first-block Christopher Drive caller reported Thursday morning her ill friend was receiving phone calls asking her for her bank account information.

A caller from Independence House, 1000 Independence Road, reported Thursday afternoon she received a complaint from a co-worker that might require law enforcement.

A 100-block East Clark Street caller reported Thursday evening two small white dogs bit her son in the ear.

A caller from Quick Shake, 150 W. Lytle St., reported Friday morning her cell phone was stolen.

A person was at the station Friday morning to report identity theft.

County reports

A person was at the station Thursday evening to report identity theft.

A 7000-block N. CR 29 caller reported Thursday evening someone was using a backyard in the vicinity as a firing range.

A possible explosion of some kind was reported Thursday night in the first block of Baker Street.

Tiffin accidents

An accident with no injuries was reported Thursday afternoon at Elmer Street and West Perry Street. A citation was issued.

A two-car accident occurred Friday morning at South Monroe Street and Madison Street. No injuries were reported, and a citation was issued for failure to yield.

State Patrol

Jonathan Tiell, 32, of Tiffin, was cited with assured clear distance ahead and operating a vehicle under the influence after an accident Thursday afternoon on S. SR 100.

County fire

Bascom firefighters responded to a field fire Thursday afternoon on W. US 224.

Sycamore firefighters were called to S. SR 100 Thursday evening for an accident.
