BUCYRUS - Bucyrus Little Theatre's final show of the season is "Meet Me in St. Louis," directed by Ken Barnett.
This adaptation of the 1944 film tells the story of the Smith family, Alonzo, Anna and their four daughters and one son. Living in St. Louis and busy with friends, family and hopes for romance, they also are eagerly looking forward to the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair.
When Mr. Smith unexpectedly announces the family will be leaving St. Louis and moving to New York, he is not met with the excitement he expected. The family, along with their housekeeper, Katie, are devastated by the news. Longtime friendships and pending romances will have to be abandoned - and they will miss the fair.
