BLOOMVILLE - Although an opening date is yet to be set, Bloomville Village Council met Wednesday evening to discuss some issues related to the village pool.

Council heard Teresa Maxhimer was hired as pool manager with Sarah Alt named her assistant. It also was learned that the school park committee meeting April 30 led to a discussion on the possibility of a future antique tractor show. More discussion will be needed before a decision is made.

Police Chief Howard Minzer asked council if traps were available for skunks and animals before the numbers "got out of hand." Council promised to obtain more information.

In other business:

Zoning permits were reviewed.

New Haven street project went over by 150 feet.

Small holes and seams being repaired in pool.

Council is to meet next at 7 p.m. May 16 at village hall.
