Two Fostoria men have been sentenced to prison in connection to a burglary and kidnapping incident in October.

Shon T. Howell, 28, was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated burglary last week, and Andre N. Moorer, 36, was sentenced to a year in prison after pleading guilty to complicity to abduction Monday, according to court documents.

The men were indicted on the charges for entering an Arthur Avenue residence where Howell then held a weapon to the mother of his children's face and kidnapped his two children.

The children were returned to their mother following Howell's arrest.

According to court documents, Howell had three counts of abduction and one count of endangering children dismissed and Moorer had a count of complicity to aggravated burglary and two counts of complicity to abduction dismissed.

As part of their sentence, both men also were ordered to pay $500 to the victim and $124.98 to the Ohio Crime Victims Reparations Fund.
