Singles wins key St. Joe ...

FREMONT - Fremont St. Joe swept the singles matches Monday for a 3-2 win over Calvert.

The closest singles match came at No. 2, where Aaron Burns upended Jacob Zimmerman 7-5, 6-4 for the Crimson Streaks.

Grant Cleveland dropped Jack Burtis 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1, and Hunter Harrison beat Tim Puesey 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3.

Senecas (2-3) Dan Kwiat and Ian Warnement claimed a 6-0, 6-2 No. 1 doubles match from Jack Wurzel and Nick McNair.

Mark Fowler and Danny George won 7-6, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles over Jacob Hahn and Jacob McQuiston.

... and Sandusky

Sandusky rolled through the singles matches Monday to claim a 3-2 win over Columbian, dropping the Tornadoes to 10-6 overall and 5-4 in the Northern Ohio League.

Mason McCool and John Obringer gave TC a 6-1, 6-1 No. 1 doubles win over Brock Cremean and Jeremy White.

Tornadoes Jared Fleming and Brandon Berry blanked Martin Stevenson and Mason Wallrabinstein 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.

Jacob Riedy gave the Blue Streaks a 6-0, 6-1 No. 1 singles win over Nick Gaietto. Jack Stauffer beat Braden Kuhn 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2. David Linden defeated Austin Crabtree 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3.
