WSOS, veterans on county agenda

The Seneca County commissioners are to hear from Jean Lutes of Veteran Services and Joyce Huntley with WSOS during a meeting at 10 a.m. today.

May is WSOS Action Month. WSOS is a community action program representing Wood, Sandusky, Ottawa, Seneca and Hancock counties.

Two bids are set to be opened for obstruction removal and crack sealing, seal coating and pavement markers at the airport.

At 11 a.m., a wellness grant will be discussed.

In new business, the following is subject to board approval:

A supplemental appropriation of $185,000 for the Water Pollution Control Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $15,700 for the General Fund.

An appropriation adjustment of $40,000 within the Maintenance and Repair Fund.

An appropriation adjustment of $14,000 for the County Capital Projects Fund.

Amending the boards orders of April 24 regarding a supplemental to permanent appropriations for the Capital Project Fund.

Authorizing President Ben Nutter to sign a sub-grant agreement with Area 7 to Deliver Workforce Investment Programming on behalf of Seneca County Job and Family Services.
