People interesting in volunteering for post-disaster aid through Ohio Citizens Corps Program are asked to attend a meeting at 6 p.m. May 14 at Fostoria Fire Station, 238 W. South St.
Information on membership, training and certification will be presented.
The organization is made up of six programs, including Community Emergency Response Team, which is funded through the county and can provide training and certification at no cost, Allyson Murray, Fostoria's safety service director, said.
Participants must be at least 18 years old and anyone previously involved with Emergency Corps is strongly encouraged to attend.
