Levi J. Danner, 21, of Sycamore, died Friday, April 27, 2012, from injuries incurred in an accident on CH 29, south of Sycamore.
He was born May 17, 1990, in Upper Sandusky, to Buddy J. and Stephanie J. (Amaya) Danner, and they survive in Sycamore.
Also surviving is a sister, Kimberly A. Danner, Sycamore; fiance, Kelsey A. Gibson, Sycamore; maternal grandfather, Joe Amaya, McCutchenville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death were a maternal grandmother, Juanita Amaya; paternal grandfather, Harry Danner; and an uncle, Timothy Danner.
A 2008 graduate of Mohawk High School, Levi worked at Danner's Towing and Recycling in Mexico, Ohio. He was a member of Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey and attended St. Pius Catholic Church in Sycamore.
Levi was a demolition derby fanatic, winning many derbies around the area. He loved deer hunting with family and friends, going mudding in his short-bed Chevy pickup truck and playing with his dogs, Silver, Chevy, Lucky and Gus. You always would see mud slinging and hear tires humming, pipes cracking, music blaring and Lucky barking, letting you know he was near.
His infectious smile, white teeth and charisma will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
Family and friends will be received 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at the original shrine church in Carey. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery near Carey.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk High School soccer team in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey, OH 43316.
