Alma thumped Heidelberg 11-1 in the opener and outlasted the Students Princes 21-13 in the second game Monday to improve to 23-9.
Erica Huffman singled in Heidelberg's lone run in the first game.
Lexie Pinkelman suffered the loss in the opener.
Rebecca Dwyse paced the Scots with a two-run double as part of a 3-for-4 effort with six RBIs. Erin Rodes drove in two runs with a double and single. Louise Rezmer got the win.
The second game went back and for the, with Bessie Artino hammering a grand slam and Ashley Kessler lining a two-run single in the third inning for an 11-8 lead.
But Alma used three consecutive doubles and a sac fly in the fifth to tie the game at 11, and a two-run homer by Emily Ross and three-run double by Erin Pintek in the sixth to forge ahead 17-11.
New Riegel graduate Jami Wagner ripped a two-run single in the bottom of the sixth for Heidelberg to cut the gap to 17-13, but the Student Princes (15-17) got no closer.
Julie Okorn went 3 for 4 with a double and three runs for Heidelberg, Huffman was 3 for 4 with three runs and Kessler knocked in three runs and singled.
Kessler (1-1) also took the loss, with Rezmer (11-4) gaining her second win of the day.
Amanda Schneider led Alma by going 4 for 5 with a triple, four RBIs and three runs. Ross added a double and triple and ended with six RBIs and two runs.
