Patricia A. Gladieux, 77, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, at her home, surrounded with her family at her side.
She was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Toledo, to Perry and Jane (Schultz) Purdy. Patricia was a homemaker and a farmer, working with her son for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Millersville. She married Barney John Gladieux Nov. 29, 1952. They later divorced and he survives in Freeport. Patricia was a very loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting.
Surviving are three children, Michael (Linda) Gladieux of Oak Harbor, Henry (Jodi) Gladieux of Burgoon and Mary (Marvin) Rhoads of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Orville Purdy of Fremont.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Barney John Jr. and John Gladieux.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Gibsonburg.
Her Mass of Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 26, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Millersville, with the Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or to Stein Hospice in Patricia's name.
